I don’t just support creative people, I am one too. I’m a producer, a curator, and more.
A life of spreadsheets and grant deadlines can get dull even for the most committed arts administrator. That is why I’m always working on a few passion projects of my own as a curator and producer. Here’s what is coming up soon.
Opening Wednesday July 15th from 7-9pm. Gallery hours July 16 to August 1, Thursdays/Fridays from 5 – 8 pm and Saturdays/Sundays from 11 am – 5 pm.
PRIME features eight of Trestle Gallery’s Spring 2015 artist residents: Lauren Bierly, Elisa Carreno, Chelsea Horvath, Anna Kilijunen, Allie Rex, Kara Smith, Adrienne Tarver, and Bridgette Zou. The exhibition brings together a diverse selection of media, processes, and themes to find a common ground in the search for patterns and essential qualities in nature and creation. The title also references the goals of Trestle’s residency program; to support artists with potential and give them the tools they need to reach their prime.
Untitled Opera about Robert Moses and Jane Jacobs, Associate Producer
Premiering at Williams College in March 2016. New York Premiere to be announced in 2017.
Co-produced by 3-Legged Dog and New Amsterdam Presents
Music by Judd Greenstein
Libretto by Tracy K Smith, Winner of the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry

The opera is centered around Robert Moses and Jane Jacobs, two visionary urban theorists struggling over the fate of Washington Square Park and lower Manhattan in the 1960′s. The opera frames this conflict, implicitly, as a love triangle in which Moses and Jacobs vie for the affections of the City. This story will be told like never before using music, poetry, dance, animation and direction created through a deeply collaborative process by this singular artistic team.
